The ABC TV Series "V" has returned to the screen. The 2009TV series version of "V" premiered on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 on ABC. V's premiere was a sign that it has the big chance to compete with other TV shows in prime time.
ABC's science-fiction TV series V, which is a reimagining of the 1983 miniseries V, started its broadcast yesterday. The new version of "V" has been created by Scott Peters, Jace Hall, Steve Pearlman and Jeffrey Bell.
Premise: At all corners of the Earth humans awaken to the sight of spaceships hovering over every major world city. Extraterrestrial visitors come with giant spaceships into the World and they appear over 30 major cities of the world. Anna, charismatic leader of the extra-terrestrial "Visitors," claims to come in peace. Is it the truth?
FBI agent initially to Erica Evans and a small number of humans have a doubt the sincerity of the seemingly benevolent Visitors. They think that the these extra-terrestrial visitors have a different plan about the planet.
Erica Evans discovers that the aliens have a different plan. She discover that they have spent decades infiltrating human governments and businesses. The aliens come to the final stage of their plan to take over the planet.
Erica joins the resistance movement, however she can't prevent them from seeming friendly. The Aliens win the trust of people by curing a variety of diseases on Earth. People have been enamored by the aliens and their generous offers, believing every word "The Visitors" utter. However, everything what they have done is LIE. The aliens are planning to attack the World by means of guile instead of warfare, infiltrating our governments and businesses in an attempt to subjugate and dominate mankind.
They’re not what they appear to be. Erica has discovered the truth, but she can't convince the people of the truth. How can she prevent this invasion? She is not alone. Even she becomes a big part of a growing resistance of people who have seen through The Visitor’s lies like Erica. However, it is almost impossible to convince people that the visitors are not saying the truth.
The Visitors offer up their advanced technology in exchange for the chemicals and minerals their ailing world desperately needs. First, with amazing gifts and persistent claims of harmony that The Visitors have demonstrated, many would laugh in Erica’s face or worse. Second they have recruited Earth's youth including Erica's son Tyler. It said to them that they are Peace Ambassadors. But in actuality they are there to serve The Visitors as unsuspecting spies.

Here's a new trailer, which was broadcasted yesterday, for ABC's new TV series 'V'. By today's standards the story line of the show, the concept and effects seem pretty cool, but unfortunately, "V" will air just in November. After four episodes the series will resume in March 2010 to complete the 13 episode series.
