"Modern Family" is ABC's new comedy TV show. It takes a bird's eye view of today's American families which come in all shapes and sizes. Modern Family TV show is a satirical look at three different families.

Modern Family is an American single camera mockumentary comedy. It premiered on ABC on September 23, 2009.

Phil (Ty Burrel) and Claire (Julie Bowen) want to have that open, healthy, honest relationship with their three kids on ABC's "Modern Family." But it is not always easy, especially when you have a teenage daughter.

About the show

Jay (Ed O'neill) recently married Gloria (Sofia Vergara). Jay is trying hard to keep up with his hotter Colombian wife, along with her passionate pre-teen son, Manny. Claire's husband Phil is great man. But he thinks he's "down" with their three kids, much to all their embarrassment. Phil's wife is Claire. She is having a hard time raising her own family. She is having trouble with her own family, especially with her husband Phil. Cameron and Mitchell have just made a major life change by adopting a Vietnamese baby named Lily.

Claire and Phil have been married for about 16 years and they have three kids: Teen , Alex and Luke. The self-proclaimed "cool dad" Phil knows all the dance moves to High School Musical. Claire did some mistakes during her wild youth and she doesn't want her children to make the same mistakes.
Modern Family tv show currently airs 9:00 Wednesdays in the 2009-2010 season.
